The Murrysville Dek Hockey League played its first week of the early summer session for the Cadet, Beaver, and Penguin divisions last weekend.
Cadet Division
SILVER 2, LIME 0
Eric Petika had a shutout for Silver. Scoring for Silver were Joey Goldstein and Arman Zarnegar. Assists came from Vincent Esposito, Jayda Mears, and Marc Montalbano.
RED 6, BLUE 5
Max Mastermonico scored a hat trick and two assists for Blue. Also scoring a hat trick and one assist was Brian McCloskey. Assists came from Dylan Barone, Anthony Capalongo, Christian Kurtz, Bradley Lucas, and Jakob Lefchik. Kolden Cook and Nathan Puhala each scored two goals for Blue and Jannik Linnemann with one. Eric Stanko had two assists.
ORANGE 2, WHITE 1
Reed Shaw and Evan Yurko scored the goals for Orange and Nick Falvo and Bryan Farren had the assists. Tim Murcek scored the only goal for White and Wyatt Schramm had the assist.
SILVER 3, RED 2
Jake Sepe scored one goal and one assist for Silver. Also scoring for Silver were Vincent Esposito and William Smartnick. Assists came from Patrick Boyle and Joey Goldstein. Max Mastermonico scored both goals for Red and assists came from Bradley Lucas and Brian McCloskey.
WHITE 6, LIME 5 (SO WIN)
Scoring in regulation were Gavin Fusting and Michael Gershenzon each with two goals and Tim Murcek with one. Connor Warwick scored a hat trick and one assist for Lime. Also scoring for Lime was Jake Stackiewicz with one goal and three assists and Brenden Beaver with one goal and one assist. Assisting one of Warwick’s goals was Greg Keener.
ORANGE 3, BLUE 0
Jared Milstein scored two goals and Jack Leuenberger scored one for Orange. Assists came from Evan Yurko with two and Connor Mowry with one.
Beaver Division
BLUE 5, LIME 2
Scoring a hat trick and one assist for Blue was Noah Schlessinger. Also scoring for Blue were Mason Reisz with one goal and one assist and Ryan Beard with a goal. Assisting one of Schlessinger’s goals was Jacob Trusky. Jack McKenzie and Sam Serago scored the goals for Lime. Assists came from David Tamino and Hunter Hazlett.
WHITE 6, ORANGE 3
Scoring for White was Ethan Carr with two goals and one assist, Kyle Bartifay and Luke Painter each with two goals. Assists came from Max Stophel, Hanna Hummert, and Daniel Shortman. Mason Smith scored a hat trick and all the goals for Orange. Assists came from Jonny Rizzardi and Brooke Rivardo.
RED 10, SILVER 0
Bobby Dickson had a shutout for Red. Scoring for Red was Zach Abdallah with five goals and two assists, Jacob Dally with a hat trick and one assist, James Sullenberger and Alex Abdallah with a goal. Assists came from Nico Martucci with four, Jacob Carradine with three, Jacob Humberger and Antonio DeMarchis with one.
GOLD 4, VEGAS 3 (SO WIN)
Scott Pike scored two goals and one assist for Gold. Also scoring a goal in regulation was Domenic DiFalco. Scoring for Vegas were Trevor Naman with a goal and one assist, Liz Wernert and Alex New with a goal. Assisting New’s goal was Ben Wernert.
BISCAYNE 7, BLACK 3
Scoring for Biscayne were Joey Scherpereel with two goals and one assist, Cody Sepe with two goals, Luke Russman with one goal and one assist, Hunter Schachte and Danny Soltesz with a goal. Assists came from Chris Marinchek with three and Gracie Scherpereel with one. Andrew Adamik scored a hat trick and all the goals for Black. Assisting one of Adamik’s goals was Wyatt Webber.
PURPLE 3, GREEN 1
Taren Boyer scored two goals for Purple and Ethan Lawlor scored one. Assisting one of Boyer’s goals was Kevin Cakanac. Tyler Ramus scored the only goal for Green and the assist came from MJ Clemente.
Penguin Division
WHITE 11, RED 4
Ryan Crombie scored six goals and three assists for White. Also scoring for White were Xavier Solomon with two goals and two assists, Dominic Caruso with one goal and five assists, and Jacob Pedley and Lucas Yaniro each with one goal. Assists came from Justus Laskey and Jay Moi each with two and Alex Kuzmkowsi with one. Brady Paliscak scored a hat trick and one assist, and Alex DiFilippo scored one goal and one assist for Red. Assisting on one of Paliscak’s goals was Ben Rihn.
BISCAYNE 6, ORANGE 4
Scoring for Biscayne was Brandon Bigenho with four goals, and Braden McMunn with two. Assists came from Travis Marks with two, Karson Thatcher, Evan Stasko, and Jack Blank with one. Ethan Gray scored a hat trick for Orange. Also scoring for Orange was Zach Miller. Assists came from Kyle Dupill with two, Connor Cannobbio, Jackson Schachte, Jake Magnani, and Wesley BeHanna with one.
SILVER 2, GREEN 1
Sammy Scherpereel scored both goals for Silver. Assists came from Geno Gallippi with two, Nick Turowski and Ethan Bombalski each with one. Maddox Cenci scored the only goal for Green and the assist came from Tommy Kalkstein and Josh Goldberg.
BLUE 6, GOLD 2
Brandon Svoboda scored a hat trick and one assist for Blue. Also scoring for Blue were Dominick Bartolli and Alex Rauber each with a goal and one assist, and Connor Evans with a goal. Assisting Bartolli’s goal was Seth Hartman. Nicholas Bruno scored both goals for Gold and Blake Bertucci has the assists.
